Production Supervisor (RM5,000-RM7,000)

Job Description

1. Oversee and coordinate day-to-day production operations to achieve quality, output, and delivery objectives.
2. Allocate tasks to production staff and monitor performance to ensure adherence to SOPs, quality guidelines, and safety regulations.
3. Identify and resolve production problems promptly, implementing corrective and preventive actions when necessary.
4. Conduct daily shift briefings and maintain clear communication across all production teams.
5. Track material consumption, minimise waste, and drive productivity improvements.
6. Work closely with the planning, QA, and maintenance departments to ensure seamless workflow and operational continuity.
7. Prepare accurate shift reports and contribute data for KPI evaluation and performance reviews.
8. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to production operators to build a skilled and high-performing workforce.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
4. Good understanding of production KPIs, lean manufacturing concepts, and continuous improvement practices.
5. Ability to speak and write in Mandarin in order to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients.
