Job Responsibilities:
Responsibility 1: Participate in the review of mold schemes
- Before the project is finalized, responsible for evaluating the mold scheme (including selection of die-casting equipment, basic TR quotation, etc.).
- After the project is finalized, responsible for scheme review.
- Responsible for communicating mold solutions with customers during the new project phase, including customer inquiries.
Responsibility 2: Responsible for the development and design of die-casting molds
- Responsible for the design of mold technology solutions.
- Responsible for technical evaluation before engineering changes and providing opinions on molds.
- Responsible for the design of mold technology solutions after engineering changes.
- Responsible for reviewing the design scheme of tooling (trimming die, precision cutting die) and providing opinions.
Responsibility 3: Participate in mold design and acceptance during the trial production and mass production stages of new projects
- Participate in sample trial production, design PPAP trial production stage mold design (including design of mold modification plan)
- Responsible for confirming project acceptance, outputting PSW improvement report for 6 months until it is handed over to the process engineer (with a comprehensive qualification rate of 80%).
- Responsible for confirming the latest 3D molds provided by the mold factory before the production of new project molds.
Responsibility 4: Participate in continuous improvement and enhancement
- Responsible for evaluating and improving backup plans.
- Responsible for the improvement of mass-produced products and the development of improvement plans for die-casting molds (3D/2D, mold flow, etc.).
- Participate in TPS improvement according to factory requirements.
- Responsible for modifying production molds (mold flow analysis, 3D modeling) and outputting mold improvement plans.
Responsibility 5: Participate in quality management activities
- Participate in the analysis and handling of customer complaint issues, and output a mold improvement report.
- Responsible for providing model flow analysis to the quality department during the customer complaint process.
Responsibility 6: Responsible for mold development and mold modification management
- Record the improvement points of the series of molds and conduct experience accumulation (cumulative summary of historical problems).
Responsibility 7: Participate in the implementation of safety work
- Conduct learning and examination according to company requirements, as well as implement safety performance, identify safety issues and make improvements.
- Complete temporary tasks assigned by superiors.
Job requirements:
- Degree or above in mechanical design and manufacturing, mold design and manufacturing related majors;
- Proficient in Chinese, English, and Malaysian trilingual communication is preferred;
- More than 3 years of practical experience in mold design positions in the die-casting industry(Excellent fresh graduates can apply);
- Proficient in using drawing software applications: 2D and 3D drawing software applications.
- Proficient in using mechanical drawing: recognizing and drawing.
- Proficient in using model flow analysis.
- Proficient in using mold design.
- Ability to analyze and solve the causes of different defects.
- Ability to modify mold schemes.
- Communication skills between technical solutions and clients.
- Application of basic tools (such as flow modeling, thermal imaging, etc.). “
