Measurement Engineer (RM2,200-RM3,800)

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibility 1: Submit a purchase application for new measuring tools and gauges

1. Based on the quality planning of the project, submit a new purchase list for measuring tools;
2. Responsible for the verification, calibration, and testing of newly purchased measuring devices in the factory;

Responsibility 2: Responsible for the transfer of measurement related data for mass production

1. Responsible for the requisition, transfer, and disposal of factory measuring devices.

Responsibility 3: Execution of Periodic Calibration

1. Responsible for developing periodic verification plans and completing the periodic verification, calibration, and testing of measuring devices according to the plan;
2. Assist in developing calibration specifications, evaluating standards, and maintaining the latest version of calibration procedures.

Responsibility 4: Management of measuring tools and equipment

1. Responsible for the storage of measuring instruments and gauges;
2. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of general measuring tools in the factory, tracking the progress of specialized measuring tool repairs, and confirming their effectiveness.

Responsibility 5: Participate in the implementation of safety work

1. Conduct learning and examination according to company requirements, as well as implement safety performance, identify safety issues and make improvements.
2. Participate in the safety management work of our team.

Responsibility 6: Responsible for team development and cultivation

1. Responsible for guiding the work of new employees and supervising and inspecting the effectiveness of their work
2. Responsible for training on the use of measuring tools.
3. Participate in team development plans and execute them.
4. Complete temporary tasks assigned by superiors.

Job requirements:

1. Degree or above in mechanical manufacturing, quality management or related majors;
2. Proficient in Chinese, English, and Malaysian trilingual communication is preferred;
3. Holding a metrology qualification certificate;
4. GD&T image recognition ability;
5. Understand and apply quality management tools such as MSA, SPC, 8D, etc; VDA6.3 Process Audit Qualification; IAFT16949 internal audit qualification, etc.
6. More than 3 years of relevant metrology work experience in the automotive manufacturing industry(Excellent fresh graduates can apply).
7. More than two years of relevant work experience in metrology calibration.
