Job Responsibilities:
Responsibility 1: Submit a purchase application for new measuring tools and gauges
- Based on the quality planning of the project, submit a new purchase list for measuring tools;
- Responsible for the verification, calibration, and testing of newly purchased measuring devices in the factory;
Responsibility 2: Responsible for the transfer of measurement related data for mass production
- Responsible for the requisition, transfer, and disposal of factory measuring devices.
Responsibility 3: Execution of Periodic Calibration
- Responsible for developing periodic verification plans and completing the periodic verification, calibration, and testing of measuring devices according to the plan;
- Assist in developing calibration specifications, evaluating standards, and maintaining the latest version of calibration procedures.
Responsibility 4: Management of measuring tools and equipment
- Responsible for the storage of measuring instruments and gauges;
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of general measuring tools in the factory, tracking the progress of specialized measuring tool repairs, and confirming their effectiveness.
Responsibility 5: Participate in the implementation of safety work
- Conduct learning and examination according to company requirements, as well as implement safety performance, identify safety issues and make improvements.
- Participate in the safety management work of our team.
Responsibility 6: Responsible for team development and cultivation
- Responsible for guiding the work of new employees and supervising and inspecting the effectiveness of their work
- Responsible for training on the use of measuring tools.
- Participate in team development plans and execute them.
- Complete temporary tasks assigned by superiors.
Job requirements:
- Degree or above in mechanical manufacturing, quality management or related majors;
- Proficient in Chinese, English, and Malaysian trilingual communication is preferred;
- Holding a metrology qualification certificate;
- GD&T image recognition ability;
- Understand and apply quality management tools such as MSA, SPC, 8D, etc; VDA6.3 Process Audit Qualification; IAFT16949 internal audit qualification, etc.
- More than 3 years of relevant metrology work experience in the automotive manufacturing industry(Excellent fresh graduates can apply).
- More than two years of relevant work experience in metrology calibration.
- Possess basic image recognition ability.
- Have basic skills in using office software.
- Proficient in operating company ERP tools.
- Capable of independently undertaking work tasks in the analysis of metrology engineers’ work.
