Job Responsibilities
- Maintain security and order at assigned locations such as government buildings, transport hubs, critical infrastructure, commercial premises, or events.
- Conduct access control duties, including checking identification, screening visitors, and managing entry/exit points.
- Perform security patrols on foot or by vehicle to deter, detect, and report suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, including managing crowd control, handling disputes, or assisting in evacuation procedures.
- Enforce security policies and regulations in accordance with company and governmental guidelines.
- Assist law enforcement authorities when required, including reporting offences and submitting incident reports.
- Operate security equipment such as CCTV systems, communication devices, metal detectors, or screening machines.
- Provide customer service to the public while upholding professionalism and discipline.
- Work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 SPM credits (or equivalent).
- Able to read, write, and communicate in English effectively.
- Physically fit and able to pass the Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) with at least 51 points.
- Willing to perform 12-hour shift work, rotating day and night shifts.
- No visible tattoos while in uniform.
- Must meet regulatory requirements under the Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD) for Auxiliary Police Officers.
- Good discipline, situational awareness, and strong sense of responsibility.
- Able to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
- No criminal record and must pass security vetting and medical screening.
